Yesterday was extremely hard for me!
This is day 2 of my 40 day juice fast.
I'm 35 and I have decided enough is enough with this up and down on my weight.
It started off when I was in high school. I was 150lbs at 5'7" someone said I was overweight and then it got in my head. Senior year I was 175. I thought awww I only need to lose 25lbs... then came the diet pills...and etc.. College was another ball game. You take a girl who is from the hood to this predominantly white location and bam... I'm eating my feelings because said I wasn't smart for a "black girl." Anyway it was my responsibility to access resources and that is what I'm going to do.
My body needs to heal.
I am over 250lbs right now. I didn't weigh myself. I just know I'm in a size 22 going towards a 24 again which I said to myself I would never do.
2006 I lost 50lbs prior to my graduating from grad school.
I am taking responsibility that I made poor health decisions from eating at night and not cooking meals but eating out. I LOVE to eat out and I LOVE to eat in my car.
I love to eat out because I am a foodie and appreciate trying different foods on my pallet. I'm a apple body plus I crave crave: potatoes, rice, bread, and anything sweet but my body does not like it.
So my two strikes are
1. Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome
2. Insulin Resistant.
We do not need a three..
so here we go..
